*once again...still haven't thought of a title. blah...what the heck ..who cares?
To fall in love again and again,
could this have been done?
My heart beats to the sound of the rain,
On and on I run.
For the next few days, Rin worked from seven at night until three in the morning. She would then return to her tiny apartment and sleep until the sun was high above in the middle of the sky. Not once has she complained about the demanding attention her job commends. Never once, have she complained about the messed up sleep time she has. All she cares about is the pay that she's receiving. It felt great to not have to worry about money all the time, and her manager treated her quite well. However, Rin never really quite understand how the shop run. For example, there was a total of twelve girls working at StarShine. Each hostess will represent a certain horoscope; Rin happened to be Aries. Which ever horoscope they represent, it also became their nickname as well (nicknames were needed for security reasons, sometimes they get a few weird customers at the club). However, Rin's horoscope isn't Aries, which makes it a mystery how they assign who get's what horoscope. Although love relationship is not allowed in the store, a few of the hostess are dating the waiters and the bartender that worked there. But of course they dated in secret, no one knows who is dating and who is not.
As the clock struck five on the west wall of Rin's apartment, Rin started busying herself with putting on her jacket and tidying a bit before she left the house. As she locked her door and walked down the horrendous 6 flights of stairs before getting to the bottom of her apartment, she waved hello to the passing neighbors who have just got off work and are making their way to their apartments. Leisurely, Rin slowly made her way to StarShine, passing through the endless rows of branded boutiques that had clothes with price tags that showed more than five zeros. Walking for about thirty minutes, she turned down a familiar alley way to a hidden streets that only opens at night. Rin slipped through the door and into StarShine.
Just as she was about to open the door to the change room, a tall blond hair girl with athlete's thighs bumped into Rin, knocking her off her feet.
"Oh!! Aries, I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there!" the blond girl said, helping Rin on her feet.
"It's okay, no harm done" Rin said, smiling back. "Wow, Taurus you're earlier than usual."
"Hahaa, so you noticed? Yeah, I got off from my other job early today, so I came to StarShine a bit earlier than usual." Taurus replied. "You better change soon!"
"Yeah, I will, don't worry." Rin said, as she walked into the change room.
As she got in the change room, she went to her locker and opened it up to find a dress already prepared for her. The dress today was made entirely out of silk and was a strap-less long dress. Around the edges of the dress were decorated with crystals, while the dress itself was a midnight blue color. Just as she got her dress on, most of the other hostess were pouring into the change room and getting ready for the night. It was chaotic. The room was way too small to fit even 6 people it, never mind 8 people all at once. Everyone had to fight for hair pins and eyeliners. There was also a fight between two of the hostess to decide who should use the mirrors first.
After about 2 hours of the chaotic struggle and fighting, everyone was finally in their dress, their hair and make up all neatly styled and carefully put on. As usual, all 12 hostess stood in line as their manager examine each of them carefully, to make sure they are in their best of shape and was presentable to the clients. Akito, the manager, spend about 3 seconds more in front of Rin before moving on to the hostess beside her.
"Oh no!" Rin thought, "it must be because my hair is messy. I hope Akito isn't mad."
Rin stared into Akito's eyes, trying to use telepathy to understand what's going through his mind. Akito just smiled and moved on.
When he has finished examining all the hostess, he cleared his throat and began his "work speech" for the night.
"Ahem. As I have told you all yesterday, we have a really important client coming to our club tonight. That will be Mr. Song from the most successful trading company in Korea..." Akito said.
"Gasp! THE Mr.Song from Sungson company?" Gemini asked as she cut off Akito's speech.
Akito cleared his throat again and said "Ahem. Yes, THE Mr.Song. He and his colleagues have fully booked the club for tonight. So I asked of you all to put on your best smile and give your all to make Mr.Song and company to enjoy their time here. Do you all understand?"
"YES!" all 12 hostess said.
"Good. Now shall we begin?" Akito said, smiling to all 12 hostess.
Right at 8pm, Mr. Song and his colleagues came through the door and made their way to their seats. 2 of StarShine's best hostess made their way to where Mr.Song was seated and started introducing themselves. Rin was paired up with Capricorn (as usual) making it the "table of sheep" as what the employee's always called it when Rin paired up with Capricorn.
